Okavango Lodge
Mobola Island Lodge is a self-catering lodge with campsite situated directly at the Okavango River in Namibia’s north, about 30 km west of Divundu. We have five beautiful thatch-roof bungalows at Mobola Lodge. All bungalows are fully equipped for Self-Catering and are situated directly at the river. On request (just let us know when booking) you can book breakfast and dinner and you don't have to cater for yourself.
In addition to the five thatched bungalows, Mobola Island Lodge also has two standard rooms a bit further away from the Okavango River.

We offer the following bungalows at our Okavango Lodge:

Double bed Chalets
Two of the five bungalows are double bed bungalow. It is possible to add extra beds. These chalets have a spacious living and bed room and a fully equipped kitchen with a view of the river. Furthermore, the chalets have a neat bathroom with a natural stone shower and a toilet, an outside shower as well as a large terrace, also with view onto the river. On nice days (i. e. always) meals can be prepared at the outside barbeque area next to the river.

The thatched luxury chalet is situated a bit further from the other chalets, also directly at the river. It consists of a large living and kitchen are (with a fully equipped kitchen of course) and a separate bedroom with a natural stone bathroom and toilet. The large, shady terrace withthe beautifully decorated front garden invites guests to relax and enjoy some leisurly times. The luxury chalet excels not only in its beautiful decor and the unique, tasteful interior design, but also in its private location.

4-bed Chalets
Additionally, we have two, large thatch-roof 4-bed bungalows with two separate bed rooms suitable for four persons. These chalets offer a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen with view of the river. The bed room are situated in the back part of the bungalow and have a clean bathroom with shower and toilet. Like all bungalows of our lovely Okavango lodge they have an outside shower with river view. Apart from the outside barbeque with sitting area directly at the river the 4-bed bungalows offer an additional barbeque spot directly on the roofed terrace.

Standard rooms
Mobola Island Lodge also offers 2 standard rooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. The rooms have a clean shower and a tea/coffee station. There is a barbecue area outside and a small terrace is also available.

Further facilities of the chalets
The bungalows of Mobola Island Lodge don’t require air conditioning, as their shady location and high thatched roofs maintain an agreable climate even during our hot summer. Should the outside temperatures stay above 30˚ even at night the fans in the bedrooms will cool down the rooms to a comfortable temperature.
Of course all beds are fitted with mosquito nets.
