Our Lodge at the Okavango close to Divundu

Mobola Lodge is situated on the banks of the beautiful Okavango in the Kavango Region between Rundu and Divundu. The village of Divundu, which is 30 km away from us, offers shopping facilities, gas stations and a bank. You can reach everything from our accommodations via Divundu to Mahango Park with a 2x4 (car) vehicle.

How to get to Mobola Island Lodge?

From Katima Mulilo (Caprivi): From Katima Mulilo you travel along the Trans-Caprivi Highway (B8) in the direction of Divundu / Rundu. After 90 km you will reach a veterinary fence at the Kwando Bridge at Kongola. Travel along the very straight road – careful elephants! After 190 km you will reach another veterinary fence and you will travel through Divundu. After another 25 km you will reach the Shadikongoro turn-off, which you have to follow for 4km. Another turn-off to your left and you have reached Mobola Lodge after 4 km. Driving distance: 345 km. / Driving time: Between 3.5 and 4.5 hours

From Rundu (Kavango): Travelling from Rundu you take the Trans-Caprivi Highway (B8) in the direction of Divundu / Katima Mulilo. After 160 km you will reach the Mayara turn off, which you follow for 4 km after which you turn off to your right. After another 11 km you have reached Mobola Lodge. Driving distance: 175 km / Driving time: 1.5 – 2 hours
